Village Colonial

A piece of East End history, this house and barn – parts of which date to the 1810’s – were in dire need of rehabilitation. Our remit was to work with a very constrained site to make it suitable for a modern family with two children. We dug out a new basement for a TV room, stripped it down to the historic frame and reimagined it as a comfortable and crisp four-bedroom home complete with a pool, patio and dining terrace – and additional seasonal play and work space in the barn.
